About Me

I am a teacher and library media specialist at a large elementary school in midcoast Maine. Gardening is something I do because I love it. I enjoy connecting with others through a shared interest in gardens and plants. Starting seedlings and researching different varieties is something I find especially interesting. Lavender Blue is how I share my discoveries with other like minded gardeners.

You can grow along with me through social media. I don’t post often but when I do it is usually through Instagram. I don’t do Facebook, it hurts my brain and for some reason it immediately raises my anxiety levels. If the technology gods are on my side, my posts will cross post to Facebook. If you message me through Facebook, I probably won’t see it because of the whole avoidance thing.
